Hi, I'm Alec — a UK-based developer teaching myself the ropes of AI and building a few small SaaS products along the way. I enjoy the problem-solving side of tech, but I'm just as happy away from the screen: you'll usually find me at the gym, out on the golf course, or planning the next trip abroad.
After seeing how many small and medium businesses were stuck with clunky, generic QR code tools — or paying through the nose for review-management platforms they barely used — Alec set out to build something different: a fully managed service that combines proper engineering with a personal, hands-on approach.
Every LinQR account is set up, designed, and supported directly — no outsourced call centres, no bouncing between departments. When you submit an enquiry or get in touch, you're talking to the person who actually builds and maintains the platform.
