About LinQR
Built by a developer, for small businesses
I'm Alec, the developer behind LinQR. I build, configure and support every LinQR account personally — so when you need help, you're not passed around a call centre.
I'm a UK-based developer who enjoys the problem-solving side of tech, but I'm just as happy away from the screen: you'll usually find me at the gym, out on the golf course, or planning the next trip abroad.
I started LinQR after seeing how many small and medium businesses were stuck with clunky, generic QR code tools — or paying through the nose for review-management platforms they barely used. I wanted to build something different: a fully managed service that combines proper engineering with a personal, hands-on approach.
Hands-on, personal support
LinQR is built for businesses anywhere in the world. We understand the major review platforms (Google, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot), data protection requirements, and the day-to-day realities of running a small business.
Because the team is small, you get a direct line to the person doing the work — enquiries are answered personally, and changes to your dashboard or QR codes are handled by us, not an automated queue.
